Spiritually Inclusive Therapy
Integrating our Spiritual Self & Therapeutic Self
In my practice, I also recognize the profound importance of the spiritual self. Often overlooked or dismissed in traditional therapy, the spiritual dimension can offer deep insight and guidance. Whether it’s through intuition, connection to the higher self, or spiritual practices, the spiritual aspect can serve as a powerful tool for self-discovery and self-acknowledgment.
I take a holistic approach to healing by merging the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the self. We often face the challenge of integrating our emotional experiences with our mental understanding, and this can be especially difficult when trauma or deep emotions are involved.
How do we join them naturally, realistically, & ethically?
The healing process begins by connecting with your emotional self, allowing you to explore authentic feelings as they arise in session. We then integrate the mental self using various therapeutic modalities to help you make sense of your experiences. This combination of mind and emotion is key to initiating healing.
Rather than dictating your path, my approach honors your spiritual experience as an essential part of the healing journey. Spirituality can deepen your understanding of life’s challenges and bring clarity to your next steps. Healing requires trust and patience, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach—your process will be unique, and that’s a crucial part of what makes it meaningful.
If you're drawn to incorporating spiritual practices like tarot, meditation, Reiki, or energy work, I’m open to exploring how these tools can enhance your healing. These practices can offer deeper introspection and help guide you toward greater alignment with your inner self, moving at a pace that honors your individual journey.
