Spiritually Inclusive Therapy

Integrating our spiritual self into therapy

In my practice, I also recognize the profound importance of the spiritual self. Often overlooked or dismissed in traditional therapy, the spiritual dimension can offer deep insight and guidance. Whether it’s through intuition, connection to the higher self, or spiritual practices, the spiritual aspect can serve as a powerful tool for self-discovery and self-acknowledgment.

I take a holistic approach to healing by merging the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the self. We often face the challenge of integrating our emotional experiences with our mental understanding, and this can be especially difficult when trauma or deep emotions are involved.

How do we join them naturally, realistically, & ethically?

Healing begins with connecting to your emotional self, noticing your feelings, and exploring them in a safe, supportive space. Together, we integrate the mind and emotions using evidence-informed therapeutic approaches that help you make sense of your experiences and uncover insights about yourself.

Your process is yours. You decide what to explore, and I will support what emerges. Spirituality and symbolic tools, like tarot (archetypes), meditation (regulation/mindfulness), or body-based energy work (somatics), can serve as mirrors for your inner experiences, helping you see patterns, clarify choices, and deepen self-understanding. These tools are always optional, used ethically, collaboratively, and at a pace that feels right for you.

Healing requires patience, trust, and self-compassion. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, your journey is unique, and honoring that is central to meaningful, lasting growth.
